Performance Fabricating Plans Expanded Headquarters-Manufacturing Plant In Fenton, Michigan

Performance Fabricating, a primary supplier to automotive, healthcare and institutional customers worldwide, specializing in steel fabrication and robotic welding, plans to construct a $9 million corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility in Fenton, Michigan. The company expect to create 52 jobs.

As a result, the company has been awarded a $150,000 Michigan Business Development Program performance-based grant. The township has also offered support to the project in the form of property tax abatement. The company plans to work closely with Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce to interview structurally unemployed individuals and/or other unskilled high school graduates.

It is thanks to many public and private partners that this project is taking place, and we are pleased to support that collaboration,” said MEDC CEO Steve Arwood. “This investment will provide good employment opportunities for Michigan residents and will create a long-term positive impact on the local economy.”
